Visionnaire returns to the Shanghai event, which represents the perfect opportunity to convey the ‘Greenery’ philosophy at the heart of the brand

Visionnaire’s ‘Greenery’ philosophy is gripping China with its wave of positivity, freshness, naturalness and – most important of all – creativity. The concept – which was adopted by the Visionnaire back in April, sparking a revolution in the company’s output – is there for all to see in the collections on show at Salone del Mobile.Milano Shanghai, to which Visionnaire is returning following a positive experience at the previous edition, when it teamed up with Foshan-based partner Shunde.

“China is one of our main markets, accounting for over 20% of our revenue,” explains Visionnaire CEO Andrea Gentilini. “Last year, we experienced an important increase in sales volume and strenghtened the presence in the market, while new mono-brand stores are set to open in new first- and second-tier cities like Xiamen and Xi’an by the end of 2017. The Chinese clientele is continuing to demand top-quality luxury products and Visionnaire more than fits the bill.”

It certainly does. Salone del Mobile.Milano Shanghai is the perfect opportunity for Visionnaire to introducing the Chinese public to its ‘re-evolution’, which represents not an abandonment of its style and production values, but a renewal, an evolution and a new sense of sensitivity towards the concept of luxury. The new approach features a focus on ethical design, sustainability and nature in all its forms, both functional and decorative. Together, these elements represent a new concept of furniture and interior design in general, one that nurtures the body and the soul.

One man who has played a key role in this transformation is Steve Leung, the Hong Kong-based architect whose synergy with Visionnaire “is riding the wave of a vibrant collaboration thriving like never before”. New models, such as the Princess bed and Wilshire office room, stand alongside Nature Jewel Box, the collection unveiled two years ago to mark Visionnaire’s tenth anniversary and the start of Steve Leung’s partnership with the brand. “Elegant and contemporary, the new collection appeals to those searching for simple luxury, but also the uniqueness that comes from meticulous attention to materials and shaping,” explains the designer.
