A perfect combination of form and function, with aesthetic features always more distant from the marine world favoring instead of new metropolitan and contemporary synergy. Nautica, the new Annibale Colombo’s interior design collection for the sea life, has been designed by the new company's division

This year, Annibale Colombo has launched a new nautical design business aiming to enter the market with refined interior design elements offering inspiration for a sophisticated and demanding public, by seamlessly combining modern features with a nod to tradition.

As in the modular sofa Yacht, from the Nautica collection, or the Tender side table, the Argo table and the Admiral seat, all of them designed by Tomaso Schiaffino and inspired by the yachting world. Pieces enhanced by the company's consolidated experience in woodworking and enriched by the ability to integrate different materials that are not traditionally associated with the seafaring world. Hence we find harmonic compositions of wood, black walnut in this case, and steel and crystal, perfectly balanced blends to satisfy the requirements of those who in addition to high-quality materials and refined finishing, yearn to surround themselves with details of luxurious contemporaneity.

This philosophy is also evident in PeninsulaPanarea and Sardinia, a teak armchair, a foldable side table made of teak wood and a game table in leather and marble, all by Studio Ciarmoli Queda which has reaffirmed the collaboration with the company. These pieces add to the Nautica collection, seamlessly combining masterful artisan skill and contemporary design.

The inspiration for the project is perfectly completed through a construction process involving unique artisan woodworking skills flanked with technologies that allow the development of products through 3D modeling and state-of-the-art electronic machines.
