It is the Milan-based store of greatest appeal for the Nordic taste of Design Republic, and has opened a second store in Piazza del Tricolore. The new location, also intended as a venue for events and shoots, spreads over two floors and for a total space of 500 square meters, to which add more than 300 square meters for offices and e-commerce management. A particular case study for the well-known Brand created by Marco and Giulia Mornata, the youngest generation of the family that, for 50 years, has been one of the most famous names in the furniture industry in Milan.
During the opening event, Marco Mornata pointed out what were the distinctive features of Design Republic compared to other spaces of the industry in the City. "The new store distinguishes itself for offering a design without frills, absolutely accessible for quality/price ratio," he said. "I did not want a showroom, but a real store, where clients do not look for redundant luxury but instead appreciate a young, modern style that is immediately recognizable by our customers. Let's not forget that our target is a metropolitan customer who knows and appreciates design, from 25 to 45 years ".
The new space, like the first, is therefore conceived with proposals destined for a demanding public, d cultured in terms of design and therefore not attracted by the more commercial brands, but always in search of special and unique products. Design Republic offers a selection of furnishings focused on the New Scandinavian trend and on brands such as Hay, Gubi, &tradition, Muuto, Normann Copenhagen, Playtipe, many of which are treated exclusively by the Store. Alongside these brands, there are also proposals by companies such as Gervasoni, Campeggi and Zanotta that mix perfectly with the Nordic mood of the store, while, in the future, private label products will also be offered and new collaborations will be developed with designers. In parallel, the e-commerce site designrepublic.com will be upgraded.
